I think your conclusion is correct. Americans will take an unbelievable amount of crap but still be content to park their obese asses in front of the TV while inhaling twinkies by the fistful.

I just read that several states literally just knocked millions of people off food stamps.

Well, in this scenario it isn't the Govenment with or without drones that is really the primary threat. They will just be doing what's necessary to keep the lid on things and preserve their own power structure.

It's the marauding gangs of disaffected fine young urbanites that think SOMEBODY owes them a rolex or an Escalade that you need to worry about, because in lieu of Uncle Sam when the EBC don't swipe no mo' they're gonna take it out of your unsuspecting ass if you're stuck on their turf and don't have some situational awareness going on.
