Then, Senator Chris Dodd says that Sanford Weil's call to break up the big banks is too simplistic an approach. And, we finally heard a few voices on ths hill this week take on Citizens United.....including a call from Sheldon Whitehouse to put things into perspective and realize that there are much bigger sacrifices being made everyday than corporations dealing with a little public harassment. I watched that. Alyonna rocks, wish she spoke more about other countries outside of america, kinda gets a little bit out of my immediate concern when they talk about the different houses and votes and shit. but she is a good commentator. do many watch rt (RTAmerica is it?) in the us - i presume not, kremlin propaganda is their assumption..?

all of it is a joke, the uk is not going to go much further. dont hold your breath, the stench of corruption goes as deep as the belief in darwin. if the true extent of the ccorruption and manipulation was shown, well it would be really messy politically and ecconomically. the 'rich' nations, the ones built on credit, namely uk & usa, would crumble.

the uk does not want this to happen. hsbc is british, barclays british and partnered with 19 other banks (which are probably - tho i haven't read about it the other banks that are in on the scandal), maybe with hsbc. But because its all smells of britain and its being investigated by britain, not much is gonna come from it, like what happened stateside. Some other execs will get investigated, have to stand down and then swan off to the nice end of copacabana (which would involve going back in time, but they will be rich enough to afford time travel).
