I totally agree with you. There was a thread on here the other day showing that Muslim extremists make up just 6% of all terrorist activity globally. It also showed 65% being South American which was quite surprising as we don't really hear a lot about that do we. Everyone says that mainstream media is bullshit yet we still take everything they say as gospel. I suppose it is quite hard to change what we've all been doing for such a long time.

Its a leathal weapon when used in an attack. And it sounds like he was attacking once cornered.

It said in the article that the officer was the one that rammed the truck, which is the main reason why the video was confiscated.

Why the hell was this guy running from the police in the first place? For 30 minutes? In excess of 100 m.p.h.? I imagine you all think it's excessive to kill a driver of a car who is doing what he just did? Being unarmed doesn't matter here in this circumstance either. I don't know the specifics, he could have been approaching the officer to physically engage him. I've seen a video where the officers were chasing a subject in a car high speed for 40 miles, he pulls over in a junk yard parking lot and gets out and proceeds to walk calmly towards a pile of metal rubbish. The two cops run after him, he turns to face them and turns back around to the rubbish pile. One officer shoots him in the back 7 times before he falls to the ground. When reviewing the patrol car recordings one car all you see is the man turn around and gets shot 7 times, pretty harsh. In the other car's video angle you see that he was holding a handgun and he was trying to make it to cover so he most likely could get a good shot at his unwanted shadows. As for this subject in Dallas, you don't know his level of fighting skills. He could be a third degree black belt who intends to knock you down and take your firearm and kill you and other people with it. In law enforcement you don't shoot to maim, you shoot center mass to kill because the subject has forced your hand to make that choice. Police force in general is not a pretty sight to people who don't understand it or see it everyday. It's not glamorous like on Miami Vice or CSI. And it really looks messy when the subject doesn't fall in one or two hits, because at that point you have to stop your threat and that means more bullets. I've seen a video where a lone officer unloads three magazines at the offender in 20 seconds and the guy is still standing. Hits, something like 17 or 20 out of 45. Still standing. As for the officer in Dallas, I am not saying what he did was right or wrong. There are bad people everywhere. Internal affairs and the DOJ always get to the bottom of the story and punishments are swift and unforgiving to LEOs that do wrong intentionally. Don't be so quick to judge an officer from a three paragraph story in the news. Probably out of all of you in LOP Land there isn't ten people that could do his job without shitting your pants when it all goes down.
