Inglewood, California - A man found dead at the property where five members of a Southern California family were shot - two fatally - was wearing body armor, clutching a handgun and had a bullet hole in his head, authorities said Sunday.

The loaded handgun was a .38 caliber revolver registered to 55-year-old Desmond John Moses, who lived in a bungalow set ablaze before the deadly shooting spree at his neighbor's house in Inglewood, said Police Lt. James Madia.

The body, burned beyond recognition, was found inside the bungalow late Saturday and an autopsy will determine whether it is Moses.

weird story, but not that uncommon especially for inglewood, thats a hell hole,
at least it used to be maybe things have changed

the wheel gun is strange too who uses those anymore?

but even when my gun collection was at its peak of 30 or so rifles handguns and shotguns i only owned 2 wheel guns, a llama 357 and an iver johnson 38 special, i kept the iver because it was manufactured before the serial numbers were recorded but they just weren't my thing Jhikpghf

So I guess all that body armor that police and military wear nowadays won't help them if somebody shoots them right between the eyes, huh?
