If this starts getting mainstream attention, the WH and its pawns will simply dismiss it as a "fringe" story, or some other such nonsense. Anything to keep it out of the media before election time...

Either that, or someone connected to the WH saw some undeniable proof that the encounters did actually occur. You can't claim defamation of character if the deed was actually committed.

In the 1920's they thought it was. It has since been proven wrong. They still have it on their logo though....
