Perhaps that strange dejavu sensation you get sometimes is one of your other selves in the multiverse dying and at that moment you get the dejavu sensation that part of its energy merging with you and all your other selves. that feeling like you experienced it before being your other selfs last memory before dying and recombining with you... *shrug*

Now this is an idea I can sink my teeth into...I like the theory. But perhaps the other self was not dying, just moving around through different dimensions. I really don't think "death" exists on an ethereal level, only physically.

well ya same.. just like its physical body expired and its energy redistributing itself amongst all the other aspects of you.. carrying with it at the moment of merging its last memory giving you a feeling like.. wait this already happened.. wtf???

Dejavu to me has always seemed to be a warp in time...a brief rewind. But perhaps it is more of a lateral experience...kind of a sideways thing over the fabric of spacetime.

Sure. Obviously you have experienced dejavu as have I and many others. The feeling is one of, "I've been here before" or "I've seen this before". That would suggest to me that it has something to do with time. If one takes it as a given that time and space are one and the same, then such an experience could well be attributed to our consciousness skipping across the fabric of space time (assuming that you are accepting of string theory, et al) and collecting "data" or experiences from ourselves in other (parallel) universes.

im not well versed in string theory... sounds interesting. how do you account for that almost vertigo that happens... you know that strange out-of-place feeling that comes over you.. physically.

That's the ethereal part... Not necessarily definable, nor necessary to be defined.

Yes, it would. Does it matter? I like knowing we are pure consciousness rubbing the sleep from our eyes and waking up to what's really going on. What do you think we are dealing with?

well... im not really sure. i guess if we follow my original thought one could say... that strange physical vertigo is how it feels to have an aspect of yourself recombine with your energy.... something like that. :)
