Trayvon Martin was no Boy Scout because he had just been suspended from school for marijuana possession. I'm thinking he was on some kind of spice drug at the time of his death. A spice drug wouldn't have shown up in a toxicology test but would have made him act weird and paranoid. That's why he was screaming hysterically at the same time he was attacking George Zimmerman.

Oh, I think Dershowitz thinks he should have been prosecuted -- but for manslaughter...not seconde degree murder.

Personally, I am not sure the evidence is there for manslaughter, but still think a trial is a good thing for all involved to at least try to tease out the truth.

At the end of the day, I think there will be "reasonable doubt" even for manslaughter, but I could be wrong.

I think we are most likely looking at either acquittals or a hung jury (and retrial?).

But it may take a year to go to trial, so we can worry about civili disturbances next year.

We should all live so long!
