There is no posterity with digital. By this,I mean the difference between a digitized representation of something,and something else carved into stone. Too many variables go into a digitized anything.

Iv hit all those zones
and then some

Wait! Analog audio rocks! Nothing beats the recording on LP vinyl on a tube amp. Digital recording are just too clean and artificial. Analog gives you the highs and the lows that you just don't hear on digital recordings. Video on the other hand, digital. Hands down!
