A weather machine can be turned off or destroyed.... a pole shift because of the orientation of cosmic bodies is something we can do nothing about... even with our "advanced" technology... We are 100% helpless.... Now which is scarier?

Don't get me wrong. I know the military has crazy technology and that we do in fact geoengineer this planet. But to try and explain every natural disaster as being created by man is delusional. There are bigger things at play here that we have no control over. Ancient cycles.
