Many people say drugs rot the brain,turn you into a dope,
so how come many of the worlds brightests minds are or was avid drug users?
For example:
Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics, was under the influence of LSD when he first deduced the double-helix structure of DNA nearly 50 years ago. Crick lived a long life at the age of 88.
Albert Hoffman invented lsd while researching ergots and psylocibin for cures to migranes,he self administered many lsd doses over the years along with psilocybin and he lived to a ripe age of 102!

William Stewart Halstead (1852-1922) the father of modern surgery was also a cocaine addict managed with morphine

Dr. Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) another cocaine addict,i think he even done a study.while.specifically high on coke
Im sure I could find many other examples such as actors,writers artists ect ,the way I see it is that some ppl take drugs ok and others can be destroyed by them,just because someone does drugs dosnt mean they are a mess or that they will.die any earlier,i would even think that some major breakthroughs wouldnt have happened when sober.

Yeah, many drugs are supposed to reduce inhibitions and make a person feel less constrained at certain points after intake.

Also, there was a world famous prize winning mathematician who was completely Right brained. Some even speculate Einstein was right brained himself. Left brained and drug-free folk aren't the only geniuses around here. Our idea of "Genius" isn't ever easy to define by simple element descriptors.

Can you tell me more about this? What would a completely left or right brained person be like? Do you think it is good to have both sides well developed and functional?

Though I dunno if Sigmund Freud was a genius really :( His theories kinda sucked. He is famous and reknown for being the first to actually dare think that it might not be "Demon Possessions" that cause mental abnormality. That's what we gotta be thankful for with him.. But he dared. That's good enough for me.
