Hypothetically speaking ofcourse ......Say I failed to appear at court for a small disordely conduct and oh lets say Florida. And there is a warrent out for my arrest for not appearing untill I complete a diverson class. Would something have been mailed to my address saying that ??

I had one get mailed to my house. It was for a relative of mine.
I called him and he had no idea what it was for, so he called the police station and they said it was for a traffic ticket he didn't pay.
He said he had paid it, and luckily for him he had the receipt and went down there and showed them. They were like, "oh my bad, forgot to record it". What? he could have been arrested and embarrassed over your mistake?

no, you would not necessarily know from the moment the warrant is issued. Could take awhile to get a letter to you or subpoena.
If you missed your court date they have re-scheduled. Check the schedule of court dates first chance you get.
It will show what date you are expected next, or they re-schedule again. Sometimes they re-schedule a couple times before issuing a warrant. depends on offense, the judge, the local laws, etc. But if the judge thinks you ought to appear the next scheduled date, he'll issue that warrant.
your state highway patrol would know.

RE: Does something get mailed to your address if you have a warrent for you arrest?
If you get pulled over, they will probably tow your car (big $$ to get it back, or they seize it and sell it), and handcuff you and put you in the Police car, and drive you to jail, and make you sleep in there for a few days, then take you to court.
Might be smart to go start going to the diversion class, and show up in the same court for the same judge you FTA-ed and "try to" explain that you started the class, and that you FTA--ed.
you still might get an additional fine, and get handcuffed and thrown in jail. It depends on who you are (are you a Jew--probably nothing will happen to you) and what the judge decides to do at the time.
Or, the smart rich guys, retain an attorney (maybe pay the Liberal attorney $1,500) to apaer for you and ask the judge to not stick you in the can--but no garauntees on the outcome.
They will probably not mail you a notice, but in most areas the Police will give you a free ride to jail in handcuffs.
Good luck.

I had an outstanding arrest warrant for a year and never knew it. I followed the instructions I got from the court and they issued a warrant on me anyway, claiming I hadn't. I never got any notification.

the real smart guys just do what they are supposed to do, and don't get into this situation.
the smarted guys do not give their city a reason to FORCE them to go to a diversion class, and instead conduct their daily life in a more lawful manner.
Try to not break the law inthe future--because this is designed to teach you a lesson--that if you do not learn it, THEY will continue to -F- with you, more and more until they throw away the key and leave you locked up with the people who are bad guys--so be F-ing more smart in the future!

There's 4800 laws on the books, do you know them all? Then your number might come up one day like the guy who was getting summons sent to his house mailbox when he used a PO Box for all of his legitimate mail. He ended up going to jail for not showing up in court over the siding on his house.

In California they will only tell you in person, as you'll be in arms length of their handcuffs.

Maybe, maybe not. Generally speaking any failure to appear automatically result in a bench warrant.
