This kind of puts an end to how the pyramids were built.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

OP, Wow, that's a great find. I've always wondered how they did it, and this makes perfect sense.

At the same time this increases the length that a block would have to travel till it gets to its final destination.
Easier to drag up the slope due to the angle, but has to travel a lot more, No?

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Guess this guy didn't get the memo. French geochemist Prof Josef Davidovits solved the mystery in the 1970s. The pyramid blocks are poured limestone-based concrete, made using the limestone that underlies the entire Giza plateau. No blocks needed to be cut or hauled; they were poured in place.

Don't believe that? Try a little web search.

For what ever reason the rest of the world did not get the memo, or simply don’t want to accept it, or it is simply more of a mystery to say Aliens built them, don’t know.

I did see that some time back, there is also a YouTube of a guy demonstrating that.
Honestly that makes more sense, although there is a lot of granite in the pyramids (don’t know how you pour that?)

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Yes, but it seems to work very well.

I liked the idea of keeping the corners open so they could turn the blocks. And the use of a lever to turn the blocks instead of trying to slide them was ingenious.

I think this guy got it right.

It sure sounds better then the nephilim giants building them. lol.

The open corners have been well documented, it was thought to be used as a way to bring light and air in to the pyramids wile under construction.

Sounds plausible, but they had to place a block every 2 minutes, 12 hours a day, for 20 years. Still dosnt explain that amazing cuts, groves made...that are precise to 1/50th of an inch. There are 2 million blocks some weigh as much as 40 cars....

The bulk of it yes, but the grand gallery, queens, kings chamber and above supports of the same are all granite. There are also some corridors and trap doors in granite.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Cliff's notes for those who don't get video?
Is this one of the guys who argues they rolled the blocks
up the ramps by putting wooden frames on them to make
them like wheels? Haven't heard about the open corners
stuff - diagram?
