Remember the school that taught sex ed to the 5th graders?
The teacher instructed them on anal and oral sex--they did not punish the teacher because he went by "state curriculum". How many more schools are doing this?
Then the kids go home, see nothing but sex ads on TV, sex shows on TV, half naked women on every show, zombied out on booze and drugs, getting their "material goods".

Why would these kids think that this anything but normal?

We are not a country anymore of high moral standards or education, we are a country of Snookies and Miley Cyruss's.

so true what he said. every time i talk to people who got their education from us schools and us universities or colleges i realize how bad their education is.
the good thing is that i'm not the only one who realizes this problem and so it comes that the associate's degree so many people pay a shit load of money for in your country isn't considered a degree at all in my country. in fact you aren't even allowed to visit a university with this degree (there are certain exceptions).

The U.S. school system has been jacked-up for the past 40 years, no matter whether we had an overriding liberal or conservative government in power. Four freaking decades of pushing a kid into the next grade, even though s/he was functionally illiterate, and holding the gifted kids back for fear they won't be able to "socialize" well... what BS...

and we need to get rid of tenure for grade school and high school teachers, it makes them lazy and complacent, for the most part.

there is some truth to it, many of the H1B workers are highly skilled

engineers, programmers...and there's a dearth of talent here in the US

but the companies are also looking to trim payroll per head, at least in the short term but employing H1B and also off-shoring resources

however, in the long term, water will find it's own level again and the overseas salaries will eventually match those here (or closely enough)

it's osmosis...it'll happen
