I've noticed an occasional recurring event in my dreams.
Last night i dreamt i was with an old friend, i was leaving an expensive sports car with him and riding a skateboard home. (i really owned this car a few years back). I asked him to park it in a covered spot.
He drove away, and ran over my iphone as he was leaving. I remember looking at it and thinking "it's ok I have insurance". I put it in a laptop case which was full of other electronic gadgets. Just then an angry black homeless guy tried to snatch my bag. We got into it as i was tring to protect my things. I ended up tring to smash his head into a brick wall, over and over, but it was having no effect. He just kept yelling at me.

This theme of fighting Has happened quite a few times in my dreams. There is an opponent and as hard as i try i can't hurt them. Does this mean something?
What do you think of last nights dream? Am I struggling to give up materialism?

Interesting. i think all of our dreams have meanings, but sometimes its hard to know what symbolizes what.

I too have experienced the theme of arguing or fighting in my dreams and with people that are from my long ago past and who really have no meaning in my life today.

Just a few weeks ago, I got a friend request from a person I knew many years ago that I had de-friended last year (I de-friended them because they were friends with some people who talked shit behind my back and I just didn't want to have to deal with the drama because I am way past that type of shit at this point of my life) Anyhoo... long story short I had a dream about this person 2x before they sent me a friend request, in one dream she was in a really bad accident in the second dream, one of her good friends that I don't get along with tried to kill me... I know - it was totally weird. So I was shocked when I got the friend request out of the blue because of the two dreams. I let it sit there for a few weeks, thinking it was also a dream, lol.

Then I told a friend the whole story and she agreed -- DON'T accept the friend request its a bad omen of things to come. So I didn't accept the request and blocked them. All I can think is my dreams were telling me to stay the f*ck away from this person - and her circle of friends.

And the reality is I don't know why after all this time (over a year) she wanted to be friends again... I mean she already has 300+ FB friends, certainly she doesn't need another like me unless she is looking to cause trouble. Since my friend knows the history behind these people she advised me to always remember the shit that went down before I deleted them... that people are evil and they may pretend to want to make up and be friends again, but its 2012 and the world has gone bat shit crazy. If all that stuff had not happened last year I would have thought nothing of the dream. this person likes to think she is good, but I see different... I see behind the veil she wears. She scares me. And I've told my best friend, in case anything weird should happen.

Dreams are good. Always listen to them. Keep a journal. Cheer

a dream of rational contradictions, you have have no problem letting go you just don't wish for them to be taken away.

You can let go without wishing harm to anyone, however, when the world takes away there is little you feel you have power over.

The issue maybe that you believe it's possibe to change the outcome but havenot quite figured a way to do it yet.

a dream of rational contradictions, you have have no problem letting go you just don't wish for them to be taken away.

You can let go without wishing harm to anyone, however, when the world takes away there is little you feel you have power over.

The issue maybe that you believe it's possibe to change the outcome but havenot quite figured a way to do it yet.

You also may wish to be more like your friend, He manages to drive away in your car, does you a favor and runs over your cell phone, and completes his work without consequences.

Dreams are about the day before

The fact that you would smash a fellow human beings head into the wall over a material possession may be where it's at.

That may be your alter ego that you are treating in such a way, maybe put yourself in that persons shoes and see where and why they would want to steal a material possession off you.

Are they starving, sick, got kids to feed? all questions one forgets to ask before labeling a brother to be a thief.

It may be 99 times out of 100 they are selfish and just want to steal, but one must always remember that there is that one time to account for, where being a Samaritan is more rewarding to humanity than a tyrant.

Just my thoughts that i would throw in OP, i ain't a dream catcher... just a dreamer :-)

Perhaps you've been in a state on waiting. Anticipation of some better time/event ahead that is taking too long to manifest. At this point you may feel frustrated that while you have shown restraint, more is expected from you and you feel coherenced.
