It details through an incredible amount of research America's hidden history of eugenics before Hitler expounded upon it.

Good point, twatwaffle, but you're assuming that any sort of voluntary eugenics program would be to engineer all humanity to a single phenotype. But if parents had the knowledge and the technology to "design" their children, you might see a more diverse gene pool that a more homogeneous one.

Diversity? Hummmm? I had that to some degree in my serious love interests. Personally, I have always been attracted to intelligent women. I do not care how beautiful a woman is, if they do not have a strong well functioning brain, they turn me off. When I look back on all of my breeding choices, I was definitely trying to breed for intelligence, even though that was not a set goal when I started seriously dating in my Twenties. I have been engaged or married three times. The first girl was of north African Moorish-Jewish extraction and had dark skin. She was a goddess and a temptress. She, Maria Eugenia Medina Cerecer, spoke four languages and was a professional pianist and dancer. I wrote her up in my first book and still hold a place for her in my heart. Had I married her, I expect that I would have had some very artistic children.

My first wife, a beautiful redhead with green eyes, was of Norwegian, German and Irish extraction and was president of her class. I divorced her (Her infidelity when I was away from home when I was a Naval Officer) after two kids (both blonds) and married a girl born in Hawaii of German, Norwegian and English extraction. On the English side somebody picked up the gene for African hair and my wife had it, but my two children with her did not have mom's hair. One had dark brown hair and the other dark blond. The wife and the two children were all top honor graduates from college. The wife had a dual degree, a teaching credential and studied as a Rhodes Scholar equivalent in Spain for a year after graduating from the University of California. I met and married her right after she graduated with top honors with an MBA in Business and asked her if she wanted to be a housewife and mother to a host of children. She accepted and was a housewife for a quarter of a century and is just now reentering the workforce.
