Maybe they will like being in Kangaroo Land. I use to think the best way to support the troops and the average taxpayer was the Ron Paul way and bring most all of them home. But good guy that I am I'm willing to compromise so I say let them overseas troops vote if they want to be there. A No vote of the troops in any country outside the US would mean closing the bases there for at least 10 years. A Yes vote would keep them bases open for "business" but their room and board, equipment, etc. charged to the American political party members belonging to the current administration in power that wants them there. This annual assessment would give people a extra special democratic way to show that they support.

Israel's not attacking Iran, and the troops are not in Aus for ww3. ww 1 & 2 were to reshape Europe. There will be no ww3.

As wars & revolution destroys the middle east the muslims head west for more stable lands. The US troops are in Aus to ensure the muslims are protected as they invade Aus.

Once shit starts to escalate with China, we are going to basically hand them Australia.

They've already take their guns... they don't stand a chance.

But in the meantime we secure oil/gas rights, and that is what is right for 'merica.

Watchout though, we are going to set them up, just as we set up every other nation we've put troops in (and that would be what, all but 5??)

I'd have to agree with that assessment OP. The Australian people should be fighting tooth and nail to remove all foreign military forces from their country. Australians are in the best possible position to survive what's coming. If only they would distance themselves from what's going on and assume a defensive posture. It would seem that there are alot of sheeple down under as well.
