RE: Experienced Prepper Assistance Needed, Please
Didn't have time to read the entire thread, but in response to the OP, if no one else has suggested it yet, I would advise to take the extra 15 minutes to stop at your local dollar store and pick up some keep busy goodies for the kids. Without power they may feel restless due to changes in their routine, and they may also feel anxiety. Making it a "fun" event for them with little things may comfort them and make things a whole lot easier for you.

Examples: A new coloring book and pack of crayons for each child. When there is whining ("mooooom! There's NOTHING to do!) you can pull them out. Puzzles, word search, etc., all from the dollar store, may prove to help keep the kiddies both busy and less fearful and keep you sane!

Another idea would be to pick up a small flashlight for each child at the dollar store. Obviously you'll have better quality flashlights, lanterns, etc., but giving each child their own personal light that they can turn on whenever they want can be comforting to them. It will also give them something over which they have total control which can help them feel more secure.

Thread answers(like here on thread) are to be helpful
The simplest thang can get overlooked thru anxiety

Also for an example to your comment:
You can have all the smarts in the world but a wrong turn in a forest spells Death

CourtDude  Wrote:
Like JFP said a few pages back, you'll find one at a bargain price in the months following the storm if you wish to buy one.

I had a small one I ran when I lived in an appartment complex--every unit in the complex was empty three days into a ten day power outage while my little genrator chained to the rail by my front steps kept my refridgerator, TV, DVD player and computer running the entire ten days.

Fear of ever being in an appartment situation when TSHTF was a HUGE factor in deciding to buy a home.

As CourtDude has mentioned - it's OUTSIDE

PLEASE don't run a generator in a confined space- exhaust will kill ya

CYBER-WARFARE PSYOPS WARNING

WARNING: THIS SITE EXPLOITS AND PROFILES ITS READERS.

Numerous conspiracy websites like this one function as disinformation and cointelpro operations run by western gov/mil.

They also function as honeypots and used for data mining purposes to identify and profile forum users.

Many trolls/shills/thread derailers on conspiracy sites will be spooks doing the work of their employers ~ USA / UK / Israel.

Many 'posters' are actually multiple identity bots controlled by humans.

The shills and sockpuppets are paid operatives who are most likely employed by private companies contracted by alphabet agencies to run black propaganda campaigns on conspiracy forums, some of which have been infiltrated and/or domains covertly purchased and completely taken over.

It's a major PSYOP aimed at internet users who are waking up.

Protein bars. Give you energy and you feel full. Water water water.

Small shovel to bury the business if sewage systems down. Also bog roll.

Mr. Gormsby: Of course I wasn't going to roger you, this isn't a Catholic school
