As for the earlier comment about probation, court, jail etc costing taxpayers so much money, your argument is not legit. I think that it wastes just as much money on that as it does the welfare that a lot of people are collecting while they sit on their asses and smoke all day.
And for the comment that this post is not as important as other posts on here about what is happening to our world right now, you also are wrong as far as I am concerned. Things like this might seem petty and small right now but it all determines the world we leave for our children. The more that we allow right now the worse off this place will be when my kids are my age and fighting to provide a decent Godly future for their children.
To begin your long winded fart(bs) you say "pot" should not be legalized..
1. What is "pot" ? Lol I know what cannabis is
2. You never said why it should remain legal.probably because you have no basis, so save your long wind for balloon animals...clown.
Your one of them huh.
I have heard it called Maryjane, MJ, Weed, Herb...... ETC
Were you too stoned to read further back than my post? Or are you just one of the ones who loves to fight with everyone because no one else will talk to you.
I said nothing about the benefits of it "remaining legal" because there are none :)
Cancer patients use of it is one thing, but all you have to do is b*tch about your finger hurting anymore and you can get your MM card. I think its ridiculous.
Thanks!

Tool! Everyone benefits if it's legal and I put typo in my last post you did not have any reasoning for it to remain illegal, and still you gave none.
I would benefit from legalization from the 25,000 uses the tree has. You can build your house, car etc. it's all good for the earth.
It's okay your just someone's b*tch... Glad after all they been through they are still together...
Your ass cheeks government b*tch.
It's not pot, Mary jane , reefer it's called cannabis.

I agreed that the penalty for drug charges is out of line. I do not think prison or jail should be a sentence for drug charges. However probation and community service is a totally different story!

You know what your not worth the time, that's basically an alternative to legalization and taxing, you and I both know it can't be taxed because it will overgrow your tax system.
I still need you to say why it should be illegal..
You have not givin a legit reason yet...

It should not be legalized because it is a drug. End of story. I do not care if its all natural, comes from the earth blah blah blah. I have never meet a "stoner" who was not a lazy, red eyed looser when they were stoned. I also happen to know several of them.
There happen to be several other drugs that "come from the earth. I dont hear people arguing to legalize them!

beer is a drug too
as is spirits ..
prohibition all around....
cause if its a drug covers it
then harm cause by said drug should be deciding factor of legality
deaths from alcohol yearly= Approximately 2.5 million people die each year from alcohol related causes
weed =zero ...zip nada...
make drink illegal I'll back you on weed and quit smoking
say no...then honestly you just proved my point...

Are you satisfied with the number of things that have been disallowed by your representatives? Or, are there more you would like to see criminalized? What would they be?
From where do you get the authority to govern anyone's life other than you own, to disallow the enjoyment of liberty, to punish according to your whim? Have you been endowed with Divine Right?
Do I have the same authority to impose my personal opinions and values on you at gun point? What if I wanted to punish you for using white sugar or for raising wheat? Would you accept my jurisdiction; support, and promote my jurisdiction over others?
I'm curious to hear a little of your philosophy of rulership.

On a related note -
" Prosecutor Defeated by Glaring Stupidity of Pot Laws
A Kansas defense attorney reports:
I had a jury trial this morning on level 3 possession with intent MJ, level 4 possession drug paraphernalia and level 10 no drug tax stamp. During voir dire, my almost all white, middle-class, middle-aged jury went into full rebellion against the prosecutor stating that they wouldn't convict even if the client's guilt was proven beyond a reasonable doubt -- almost all of them! They felt marijuana should be legalized, what he does with it is his own business and that the jails are already full of people for this silly charge. Then, when the potential jurors found out that the State wanted him to pay taxes on illegal drugs, they went nuts. One woman from the back said how stupid this was and why are we even here wasting our time. A "suit" from the front said this was the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard. The prosecutor ended up dismissing the case. Judge gave me a dismissal with prejudice. I'm still laughing my ass off over this one. I have NEVER seen a full on mutiny by an entire jury pool before. Easiest win ever!"
