RE: Facebook bans mother over photos of disabled son
The day is going to come when all these narcissistic parents curse the day they uploaded pictures of their children.

I can't think of anything more twisted than parents who upload every waking moment of their children on Facebook. As adults, we can sensor and edit the content we choose to present on social media, children cannot sensor or edit the content posted on facebook, they depend on their parents to may wise decisions. I see more people uploading inappropriate pictures of their kids than I care to admit.

One day these children will turn on the their parents when the realize the 'online abuse' they indirectly suffered by the very people that claim to love them.

When you love someone or something, you protect it, you don't broadcast precious moments into cyber space for all sorts of deviant beings to view.

just my 2cents.

Facebook banned a mother from using her social media profile after photos of her mentally-disabled son were flagged as "inappropriate" and a violation of Facebook's terms of use.
"Never upload any photos that contain hate speech, support for violent organizations or threats to harm others," Facebook told North Carolina woman Diana Cornwell after she posted images of her son, who has Down's Syndrome, participating in a Special Olympics event.

I don't give a shit about facebook...nor do I give a shit about the people that cling to facebook like a heroin addict to a rusty needle.

Big surprise...medium sized brother (which is what they are, it's how they were funded though through a shell company) are a bunch of douchebags. Go figure!?!

Facebook is a huge addiction for many people. Electronic addictions are the worst.

The obvious answer is for every individual with a down syndrome child in their life... to post a couple pics of them on their FB. Or better yet, everyone that is concerned should upload this kids photo onto their FB - in protest.

Some areas, like France, it is illegal to post pics of people who have problems like this.

France would possibly shut down access to the entire site and issue a warent of arrest for the owners of the site.

Why they ahve this odd peculiarity in thier culture is not known, but they do. Suppose it is the same as saying the N-word on TV in America.

:-)

there is this place in France, where the ladies wear no pants....

Wow, it's like making it illegal to be proud of your child.Tissue

I agree with not posting personal stuff on the web. -

Heard a security person talking the other day about internet postings and all the info people broadcast on the back of their cars. Just think of all the info - one can get.

What the hell happened to people - broadcasting all their personal shit out there?
