The Nuremberg trials did more than just try leading Nazi officials in government, the armed forces, and the economy. Its lasting legacy included the deliberate assembly of a public record of the horrific crimes, including those of the Holocaust, committed by the Germans and their collaborators during World War II. Plus innocent men don't keep cyanide in their mouths at all times either.

Let me ask you this. Assume the death wasn't intentional but the by product of herding millions of "enemies of the Reich," and "threats to the purity of the Aryan race" into crowded, deplorable work camps and prisons. Does that make it excusable in your mind? Does that make any one single death, let alone millions, merely unfortunate? We didn't kill anyone, we just put them in environments where they couldn't possible survive! That changes everything, right?
