Listen, what I am trying to say to you is that fasciation happens. It happens for a variety of reasons, some due to injury some, due to genetics, some just do it. I've seen it on Common Mullein, Dandelions, Moth Mullein, Daphne, a wide variety of weeds, garden plants and even trees.

Just because you see fasciation does not automatically mean radiation damage, although it could certainly be a cause.

I am living with a mass in my belly that started growing at an alarming rate in the months after the Fukushima disaster occurred. Since I live on the west coast and am outside day and night in the summer months I am sure I received and am still receiving a nice, tidy dose of radiation. I live with it every day and know up close and personal that we have real live doom on a world wide scale thanks to this egregious lack of common sense and classic corporate greed in Japan, Okey??

What I am saying, once again, that is not an automatic given that radiation is causing this. I am saying there are MANY reasons for fasciation, and radiation may or may not be the cause. Let's be accurate in our assessments and not fall into sensationalism and poor science. There is enough of that running around in conspiracy circles.

I just was saying the other day that the dandelion problem is out of control this year!! I have treated my lawn twice now and they WILL NOT DIE!! I also noticed that the stems are HUGE like in the video. did not think of the radiation though, I just though I bought some shitty dandelion killer.

I understand that it isn't always a radiation issue but certainly could be a very real concern. I am wondering but haven't yet put much research into rad leaching companion planting/gardening. (kicking myself for not having researched it already.)

I remember reading that sunflowers were used during Chernobyl to draw soil contamination and apparently my beloved dandelions are another. Does anyone have any thought or comments on this for our own gardens? What and placement in particular.

These dandelions are MUTATED - from fukushima radiation, and if it's effecting them, it's effecting US

Nope. Learn about the Inverse Square Law. The U.S. is not
getting nuked by Fuku radiation. http://modernsurvivalblog.com/nuclear/ra...quare-law/

Just that the life on our planet is taking a beating - genetically - from these man-made disasters.

Nope. There are over 10 trillion animals living in the world. And any
genetic mutations prompted by Fuku are quite localized and only affect
a tiny fraction of the world's population, same with Chernobyl, same
with 50s nuke tests, same with the GOM.

Astrochik  Wrote:
there has been radiation released for over fifty years now

And just imagine ... since the nuclear age began ... the human
population has roughly tripled from around 2 billion to over 7 billion.

Thank you so much for informing everyone that there is no need to be concerned about Fukushima. As always, your knowledge of science and ... well, everything ... has astounded and impressed everyone and we really, really take you seriously. Brafuckingvo already!

Now, your job is done here. So there is no point in you wasting your brilliance on this thread. You will be missed, really! And thanks again.

And did I say thank you again? Well here's another sincere thank you for your highly valued input.

I was just thinking how unfortunate it would be if you had a terrible accident and died.

Don't wish him harm.

There will always be a need for a 'devil's advocate' in any discussion. CB has his place in stirring us up and making us think beyond our own opinions, and to look at all aspects of a situation.

The biggest mistake we can make is assuming our viewpoint is the only correct one. You'll fall right back into a pit of error just like the one you've managed to escape.

If your perspective can't survive scrutiny, then perhaps it needs some adjustment and you need to learn a bit of self-assurance and resilience.
