I'm not cheering the arrests. There is always a replacement. The replacement of the Outlaws might not be quite as nice. Might not even be American.

I hear you. My question is this: what is the root cause of these internal power struggles among tptb? Why now?

I wonder often if there might really be something to this 2012 stuff. Like some geological (or maybe even metaphysical) shift is coming and tptb have known it all along. Maybe now they are jockeying for position in the fourth quarter of the game with only a few minutes left to play.

I'll say this ... I moved a couple of years ago based largely on an intuitive feeling that I was unsafe where I was. I have no doubt that it was the right call. It's not a permanent solution because eventually I won't want to be one of the outsiders here. But between now and then I expect that regions of this country will see a boatload of doom.

If you piss off the authorities they can get you somehow. I would speculate that even a very cautious American likely breaks 3 laws a day.

Now, meth is meth and its big time illegal, but 300 SWAT AGENTS FROM VARIOUS STATES??? A cost / benefit analysis should have been in order. Why waste that many resources and place your' people at risk for a very small quantity?

What if these swat teams had been needed in their home towns for something important, like an eviction.
