RE: Fluoride cause cancer!
I've been using tooth soap for about 3 months now. It doesn't contain fluoride, only coconut and olive oils, himalayan salt and a few other things. I noticed where my teeth were once transparent at the tips, they are now more cloudy looking white, so I am taking this to mean it's new enamel that's been formed. Everything the dental industry tells us is good really is not. Fluoride is poison, glycerin prevents enamel from rebuilding and is in all commercial toothpastes.
I am glad my kids don't use fluoride either.

Sodium Fluoride is toxic.

Calcium Fluoride is a mineral that is good for teeth.

Sodium Fluoride is what is added to water, teeth and everything...like many prescription drugs.

I've had that discussion with college professors in the 80's. They couldn't separate Sodium Fluoride from Calcium Fluoride. It was all the same to them. The public still doesn't know the difference. Neither do the thousands of people I've communicated this to.

Still, it's nice to see people realizing that some kind of fluoride is bad, even if they're too heavily sedated on sodium fluoride to differentiate the toxic kind from the normal stuff.

It's like saying the edible mushroom and look alike poisonous mushroom are the same thing and insisting you can't be bothered with details...insanity.
Yeah well they use sodium flouride in toothpaste. It's a cheap way of getting rid of industrial waste I suppose. The dentist goo is probably sodium flouride as well.

Fluoride tastes so gross.
At least poison lets you know or sense it is bad for us.

Yes, that's why they have to cover it up in the tooth pastes with flavors.

RE: Fluoride cause cancer!
I called my son's school one time and asked them if they did Fluoride treatments still (like they did when I was in school.) They said no. I told them good and then told them that if they ever bring that back or have anything with fluoride in it they were not allowed to give it to my son! They asked why and I told them my reasons, they said ummm ok...like I was crazy.

I buy it from a company called tooth soap. The website is that name plus dot com. They just had a BOGO offer for March, otherwise it is a bit spendy, but they last a long time. I was using the shreds but some people might prefer the new gel one. It does taste a little soapish but you get used to it.I actually like brushing my teeth now. They feel so smooth after using this stuff, and they have a clean, healthy feel that I didn't get with commercial stuff. I use the spearmint and cinnamon. So far the flavors are really subtle, you taste more the oils and the salt. I like it though, I plan to keep using these.

Thanks so much! I don't care how much it cost when it comes to mine and my family's health :) You just brought this company more business! :)

Cool! Enjoy! Sounds like you might have kids? I bought the Fruit Punch liquid one for my kids and they didn't like it at all, so I'll be using it up myself. Meanwhile, I just buy a fluoride-free fruity toothpaste for them from the health food store since they can't appreciate tooth soap yet. I think it's pretty nice myself, it has a bit of raw honey in it so it has a subtle sweetness. I wouldn't call it delish but I don't mind it at all, I like all the flavors I have so far.

I'm happy that you will be supporting a small, American business! I have no ties to this company at all. I just felt happy myself when I bought their products because I was supporting them and not some big conglomerate company like Palmolive-Colgate. Not only that but I think using this is going to cut down on my dental bills because I can actually see the enamel rebuilding, and I can also a big improvement in my receded gums. In fact they are not even receded anymore. Now because there is no glycerin in these products, I do brush my teeth a couple times a week with baking soda to help keep them white. The company does sell a tooth whitener but imo baking soda will work just as well for a lot less.

Yes, I have children. When My husband and I told the kids we were throwing the toothpaste away they asked why? We told them why and explained everything to them..I'm not sure if they really understand or not because they are young..but they said ok..and now use what we use. We also use baking soda to whiten our teeth as well. Thanks for the tip on the fruit punch.

RE: Fluoride cause cancer!
^^^ I let this low-income clinic put those plastic coatings on my 8 yrs old's molars. I feel kind of bad about this, I was sort of coerced into it and hadn't had time to do any research. Do you or anyone else know if this is bad stuff or not?

My kids never had a fluoride toothpaste. My 8 yr old had one tiny cavity in a baby tooth. To be honest she is not even a good brusher, but she isn't allowed sweet drinks and she eats a fairly healthy diet which I think is the most important thing for healthy teeth even above brushing them.

I was also given fluoride drops as a child and got brown spots and brittle teeth too. I also ended up with 10 mercury fillings after that, so to me fluoride does more harm than good in any amount. Thankfully I was able to get all the fillings replaced 10 yrs ago with resin.
