Well, we had a warm summer here in the United States, and that brought some of the climate change alarmists out again. Looks like it’s time for another rebuttal!

John Coleman, the founder of The Weather Channel, and various other critics have called the theory that human use of carbon-based fossil fuels will lead to catastrophic global warming or climate change a “hoax.” It is, but it’s more than that, it’s criminal.

You are misinformed. Coal is the cheapest thing going for energy production.

Please explain to me how there are/used to be several thousand coal fired plants generating cheap electricity in a competitive market?

No. I am informed about how companies get to extract coal, NG and uranium from public lands for next to nothing. Most resource extraction leases of public lands are less than $1 per acre per year. This is a hidden give away to power companies that people like you ignore when calling energy a competitive market. You are mistaken beyond the fact that power stations pay no taxes and in some states even get sales tax rebates. This means the sales tax you pay on energy actually goes to the company selling you energy. I am sorry that you are so ignorant of how business actually works.
