Here's how to quantify your crimes:
1. How much money did you make each year of your life?
2. How many years have you lived in America as an adult?
3. Use the answers from 1 and 2 to calculate how much you have paid in federal taxes in your lifetime. Use
this chart to figure out tax brackets and percentages in any given year.
4. Divide the total by the cost of one M16 bullet ($0.50).
6. Divide that by 250,000. On average, 250,000 bullets are fired for every insurgent killed in Afghanistan.

Since this is an approximate formula, we can assume it is similar or higher ratio of bullets to deaths for Iraq, Vietnam, and all
132 US military interventions in history. There have been few gaps since 1950, and there is about the same number of gap years as there are 2 military interventions overlapping in 1 year.
Keep in mind that these so-called enemy combatants are defending their countries from imperialism and many of them are probably civilians misclassified as enemies, as Wikileaks has proven beyond a doubt.
May not seem like much, but those are people you are DIRECTLY, PERSONALLY, UNDOUBTEDLY responsible for. I bet you don't think of yourself as directly responsible for anyone's murder, but you are.
You may argue that your tax money is not necessarily spent on bullets, and it may be spent on roads, welfare, ect, but all of those things are prerequisites to the bullet money. They might get those necessities taken care of with your money which enables them to use someone else's money to buy bullets. Same thing.
Now those are the deaths you are directly responsible for. It doesn't even begin to account for the unquantifiable consequences of upholding the Amerikan Empire's hegemony. Who knows how many they'll be able to murder in the future because you paid your taxes in any given year? Who knows how many could have been saved if you hadn't paid your taxes. If you had started a Thoreau-esque civil disobedience against taxes movement.
The only excuse you have for paying your taxes is if you are a member of the Resistance and you are paying your taxes so to avoid scrutiny and imprisonment while you are working to bring them down. Even if that is the case, you must acknowledge your responsibility.
Now go out there, pay your respects, have a moment of silence, and light a candle for each of your victims. Promise them you won't provide one more deadly bullet.
Note: If you have killed a fraction of a person...I'm sorry. That's awkward. Round up. If the fraction is below .5, stop now and perhaps you will not be karmically responsible.
