Yes, good point. In fact a careful study shows that Gog-Magog is a war that sets up a global religion/government where the beast and false prophet, with a federation of ten nations, assert absolute control over the earth.
But why read the bible when the local temple or church can provide your complete indoctrination.?

Churches, Temples, Synagogs, etc. are full of half truth, and sometimes are misleading.
One if so inclined, should read the bible with the eyes and brain, but also with the heart. There a person will get more understanding than any church or religion can ever give.

Very True!!!!!!!
Which also means that before this war breaks and shit hits the fans, all believers in Jesus will be raptured....
it would be nice to open my eyes ( if we still have eyes ) and be instantly in heaven.. real soon...
....
Please friends... I won't squeeze you to death with my faith... but I will reach for you if you fall because I want to see all of you in heaven.. yes even you Sir Richard LoL..
I will never tell you what to believe or how to act... as we are all intelligent and can make our own choices .. God gave us free will to choose whatever path suits us..... My Path is Following the Lord Jesus Chirst....
Pre or mid tribulation rapture is not biblical, it is a myth started by churches and religion to gain control of blind believers. Hope you will read the words of Christ in the bible and find where he states that he will rapture all (or any) persons before, at midpoint or during any tribulation. If you can't find it then why believe it?
Search Revelation also, its not there. What is there is descriptions of persecutions, suffering, and tribulations of believers and saints.
If you want a verse by verse analysis there is a decent one here:

I am aware of that.... I just believe he will... I just don't believe God would let his followers.. who have followed him all along suffer with everyone who turned from him... ... It's more of me having faith he will rescue me ...
but as I said before I will not throw mud and you or judge you because you believe different.... it's not my place... but I do want you to know... regardless of you faith... I am a friend...
be safe

Revelation Chapter 20.

you have your order backwards, the Gog war precedes the millenial kingdom which will be on the earth
the Gog war (armageddon) will be first, then the european war (when Rome points at Christ and calls him the antichrist and europe rejects him) will happen but be over pretty instantaneously when Rome is destroyed
and then Jesus and his merry saints will go about setting up the political kingdom here on earth
at the end of the thousand years, there will be some "rebellion" ---a few will think they can do better but it will be over shortly
then the 2nd resurrection (for those who lived a mortal life in the thousand years)
and sin (the devil, the dragon) will be finished
God will be ALL and IN ALL
There are clear biblical separations between the Gog-Magog war and Armageddon.

A more careful study would show you that after the wheat harvest and the wine press, the one world government that is going to be set up is the Kingdom of God on the earth. Jesus Christ is the king.
The only global government that is coming is God's

RE: GOG/MAGOG WAR WARNING
interestingly, a simple repointing of "betach" yields "batach", a very common word (about 120 times) which almost invariably means "to trust (in God)".
So when God's people dwell "confidently", ie, trusting in their God, then their safety is assured. But when the Gentiles such as Midian and Babylon and Nineveh dwell "confidently", ie, trusting in their own "gods", then their safety is by no means so sure!

All is well, but I try to find the truth as best I can and must assert when it seems to suffer.
I think the misconceptions are based on the dogma. If God is good, why does he allow good people to suffer? The job of the church is to promise the suffering will be over. But couldn't God alieve all your suffering right now, if he really loved you and was "all-good"?
My experience is more along the lines that it is how one responds to and overcomes suffering is the "all-good". That this is part of the refining by fire, and the gaining of wisdom.
Not that we will be magically transported from harm or danger, instead I believe it makes these words have their meaning in our life:
TRIBULATION: distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution; also: a trying experience
FAITH: confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another's ability. Belief that is not based on proof.
SALVATION: Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.
