That would be a tremendous mistake. The Democrats are going to use a strong advertising program stressing what the American Working class did to build all of America. No company was ever built by one person it was build by all of the Americans who contributed to its growth and eventual success.

The Democrats are going to stress the Satanic Personal greed of the Republiscams, and the Republiscams like Romney want to stress how they built America by themselves. By so doing they are going to turn the electorate against themselves and ensure a Democratic Sweep of all of the states.

How stupid can Romney be?????????????

Republiscams = Republic Scammers = Those who scam the government = Traitors

They are Fat Cat Industrialists, Bankers and Politicians who have taken over our country for the practice of their religion which is the worship of money and the massive accumulation of same by any means possible - Scam, Murder, Fraud, Bribery.

I think it's ill-informed, regardless of who actually built what.

"We built this ... "

"...not you, so you can't be here!"
"...and we'll be damned if anyone else benefits from it!"
"...with no help, so we're better than you, who built nothing without help."
"...what have YOU built lately."
"...f*ck the dolphins! f*ck the spotted owls! What have they built?"
"...and no illegal immigrants helped at all! (wait! .. mumble, muble errrr hmmm is that mic on?)"

I just don't see how something so confrontational would be at all helpful in getting them any votes that weren't already theirs.

They are not concerned about getting Converts..(IMHO) they just want to get out the Base..Hoping that the Dems will be complacent and stay home because the economy sucks... But then we all realize there is not 2 shitz different between the 2 parties..

Propoganda is for the believers.
It is not created to sway anyone who has an opposing viewpoint.
Its purpose is to make those who already agree, feel good.
That is why once someone removes themselves from the L/R BS it all looks so stupid.

The pure BS being spouted as campaign ads is doing a good job taking me from questioning if they count votes to doubting they actually count votes.
The Dems and Reps donSt even try to sway independant/undecided voters anymore.
Their ads seem to try and insult anyone who is not already drinking the coolaid.

We built this shitty

Doot Doot.... Doot Doot....

We built this shitty on unsecured loans

Via the Washington Examiner:

Bloomberg said, “it was not the banks that created the mortgage crisis. It was, plain and simple, Congress, who forced everybody to go and give mortgages to people who were on the cusp. … They were the ones who pushed Fannie and Freddie to make a bunch of loans that were imprudent, if you will.”

The usual suspects on the left went crazy. The New York Times Paul Krugman called Bloomberg an “ignoramous,” citing liberal blogger Mike Konczal’s Fannie defense:

“The first thing to point out is that the both the subprime mortgage boom and the subsequent crash are very much concentrated in the private market … [Fannie and Freddie] were not behind them,” Konczal said.

Is Konczal right? Are Fannie and Freddie innocent of causing the mortgage crisis?

This we do know: Thanks to the widespread belief that the federal government would bail them out, Fannie and Freddie were able to borrow money at below-market interest rates.

This gave them a significant competitive advantage over private-sector firms which, by 1992, the two government-backed corporate entities had turned into an almost 70 percent share in the mortgage securitization market.

That same year, at the direction of the Congress, the Department of Housing and Urban Development began setting “affordable” mortgage goals for the agencies.

And if you’d like to attach actual names in Congress — the two men most responsible for the mortgage meltdown — that would be Democrats Barney Franks and Chrissy Dodds.

Cheer for chrissy and sissy!

Exactly. It is insulting. It reinforces my belief that "they" don't actually care about "us" OR their own ideals.

I can't believe people actually argue with their friends and neighbors about politics. It's as if the system was specifically designed to be divisive. If there was really actually a desire to solve problems on either side, half of the issues would not even be political issues and the other half would be solvable by reasonable people getting down to business.
