Geogal, do you think earth's core is heating up? I do. I felt it about, at least, five years back. I'm kind of sensitive.

Theory goes more that it's possibly cooling... it's unclear really, depending upon who's ideas one goes with. If you go with ideas of plasma universe then it can be heated even while cooling. I will make an effort to check a few sites and see how many active ones are known atm and post it as compared to a number of months ago... I've been keeping a track record to check theory ideas of an average of 35ish are active at any given time. So far, it seems that more often than not, that's been about right. There have been months I checked where that number is high or lower than what we see.
