German far-right group wants to show anti-Islam film
http://english.alarabiya.net/articles/20...38242.html

A German far-right group wants to stage a Berlin screening of the provocative anti-Islamic movie that sparked violent protests across the Muslim world, a report said.

“For us, it’s a question of art and freedom of expression,” Manfred Rouhs, head of the small “Pro Deutschland” group told weekly news magazine Der Spiegel in its edition due out on Sunday.

German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich told Der Spiegel he would use every legal means at his disposal to stop them.

“Such groups and organizations only want to provoke Germany’s Muslims,” he said, accusing them of recklessly pouring oil on the fire.

They probably won't be able to stop them.
I don't mind.

that would be the work of jews, bro. Germans get locked up for questioning the holocaust. They don't have free speech rights over there.

I really really hope there is a full movie version, but so far anyone who has seen anything has seen only the 13 minutes or whatever of footage that seemed like a trailer or something, though there seemed to be enough actors and stuff that its likely there was more and those weren't the complete scenes.

If they do, folks here will find some way to blame it on Obama! Watch and see!

germans get locked up for spreading national-socialistic ideas and symbols or denying the holocaust - not for "questioning" the holocaust.

okay, lets assume an atheist group would stage a stage screening of some "anti" christian film like for example life of brian. would there be a politician telling people that they only want to provoke germany's christians? would there be any christian violent reaction? would there be mobs of christians roaming the streets setting cars and buildings on fire?

of course not. the question is why?
the answer seems to be that islam could flourish for centuries without disturbance due to its brutal oppression of differing opinions. islam has a history of violence (like all religions) that never came to an end but became part of a whole culture instead. we in western societies are lucky that we shook off our religious shackles to a certain degree and started to rely on reason instead of superstition.

the world has to show them that allah does not exist by trolling and ridiculing their beliefs as we did it with christianity. that would be appealing to their youth - especially to adolescents who always like to try out new stuff - and hopefully lead to the breakdown of their theocracies.
