RE: Global Panic Alert - Fukushima Takes Final Hit - Typhoon Guchol

Typhoon Guchol is headed for Fukishima, Japan. What will be the result when 150-mph winds hits the unstable, creaking and possibly leaking hulks of the Fukishima nuclear reactor plant? The Political Commentator has the scoop and it doesn’t look at all pretty.

The No. 4 pool is about 100 feet above ground, is structurally damaged and is exposed to the open elements,” Alvarez said in his response. “If an earthquake or other event were to cause this pool to drain this could result in a catastrophic radiological fire involving nearly 10 times the amount of Cesium-137 released by the Chernobyl accident.”

It is funny (to me) watching typhoon 4 just hovering off the coast of Fukushima where the remains of the reactors are.

What's next? Another eq is definitely on the cards, and typhoon season has really only just begun.

I just heard our NHK news and they mentioned my prefecture's main electricity generating outfit is set to start one of their redundant reactors - because there is apparently a power shortage.

Stupid bastards.

By Wednesday at 5:30 am (2030 GMT Tuesday), the strongest winds had died down in the capital and the situation was progressively improving in the northeast.
The typhoon -- the first tropical storm to make a landfall on Japan this year, and the first since 2004 to do so as early as June -- was now several dozen kilometres from the coast of Sendai.

Looks like we're all still safe! Wow another close call LmaoLmao

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.

Ok, this is real doom. Bet the whole pacific will glow after the aftermath of the hurricane.

Question, can a storm like this pick up the radiation and take it with it? I don't know about weather, is why I am asking the question.

Jhikpghf its been raining it out of the jetstream since about 3/14/11.

I had a dream last night...
japaneese women walking on my back as water rushed around me...
i saw cars, and heard screams...
i remember a horn or siren that was loud...
then i awoke to the siren sweating...
doomed

it was nighmarish again ...

The Psychosis of Rapture Belief

http://sciencebasedlife.wordpress.com/20...re-belief/

Schizotypal personalities include:
o Feelings that external events have an unusual personal meaning
o Unusual thinking, beliefs, perceptions or behavior
o Suspicious or paranoid ideas
o Extreme emotional responses
o Excessive, persistent social anxiety
o Feelings of impending doom

Religious Psychosis, Schizophrenia and Paranoia

Models of religious fanaticism, such as Jesus and Mohammad, display
the classic symptoms of a religious type schizophrenia (hearing voices,
delusions of grandeur, hallucinations, sociopathy, paranoia, believing
that they have supernatural powers, etc.), thus religious fanatics
model themselves on classic religious schizophrenics.

With the religious paranoid, they are under the delusion that their
every thought and action is being watched 24 hours a day by someone
who can send them to Hell for the slightest infraction. In the world of
psychiatry this disorder is considered to be symptomatic of paranoia,
but in the world of religious fanaticism, this type of paranoia is encouraged
and even considered "normal".

Unfortunately, once you are profoundly paranoid, its grip will spread
to every corner of your life. This is clearly evidenced on the Internet
where many forums are devoted entirely to paranoid delusions and
their triggering by religious fanatics who are convinced not only that
the world is soon to end but that such an apocalypse is being brought
about intentionally by evil entities such as the Illuminati, the New World
Order, or even Alien Reptiles -- shape shifters in human form from
other planets who have infiltrated the highest levels of government.

Cooter. Someone got the date wrong. We're all going to die in this new one that's creeping up now.

The last one we had here a 77 year old man died after he (allegedly) got blown off the road into a river. My neighbour's scooter got blown over as well! This one could be even worse.

Category 5 hurricane, according to The Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC). A super typhoon is a storm with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph or higher.

lets try again...
lock and load cooter....

Rainfall of 1-2 feet is not out of the question, especially in mountainous terrain of South Korea.

"The worst case scenario is a widespread flooding disaster," AccuWeather Expert Senior Meteorologist Jim Andrews said.

Rainfall since July has been well above normal across portions of South Korea. Seoul, the capital and largest city of South Korea, has received nearly 40 inches (1 meter) of rain since July

That typhoon is heading for me here in Amami.

All the gennys are operational, lots of batteries charged, enough food for a few days and flashlights all over the place.

* More generators than necessary... one of my hobbies is fixing them so I've got several.
