Global Warming (end of story, end of days)
These people DO NOT make this stuff up.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/a...conds.html

I don't know why we have to wait for incontrovertible proof. The logic is there for anyone with a mind.

If you use heat in a (near as damn it) closed system, the relatively closed system can do nothing but heat up.

The simplest answer is most likely the correct one

guess you have never heard of a heat exchanger or a heat pump.

I agree, it is the only mechanism to re-establish equilibrium.

there is no equilibrium in a natural cycle. granted we did accelerate it more than likely, but you cannot change it now.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Of course there is equilibrium in a natural cycle, in a natural system. Where the hell did you get that nonsense from?

When the balance of nature gets out of balance, things go boom. Asteroids, planet x, earthquakes, volcanoes erupt, whatever. It's a cycle.

You can heed the warnings left behind by our ancestors, or not.

There you have it, Cooter, er Flintstone.

you forget that we've had these exchanges of temperature for centuries.. the earth only truly levels things to a cataclysmic level about every 10,000 years or so, if that weren't true, you wouldn't have the pyramids to look at and create deep, dark mysteries about

RE: Global Warming (end of story, end of days)
There was a period in the early Middle Ages which was much warmer in the Northern Hemisphere than the present time, and then the latter Middle Ages when it was much colder - indeed so cold that The Thames regular froze over in winter.

These things are cyclical in nature and whilst I don't dispute that climate change is upon us [as it always has been and will be], I question whether humans have any great input in the mechanics.

If the concern was actually about the future of the human race and life on this planet in general, we would be hearing about the radioactive particles we are breathing, not f*cking carbon dioxide.

Shall I give you a long list of real problems that are being ignored in favor of a global tax on carbon?

Sorry I'm out of patience, but listen up, dumbfuck: If the government tells you what the problem is, they are lying. If they pump tens of billions into trying to convince you what the problem is, you f*cking well know they are lying.

indeed, we may have hardships coming, but people are very adaptive when they need to be.. thank you for your intelligent post

history goes on and we can only note the changes and adapt, if something truly cataclysmic comes, we have no chance anyway

be happy while you still have time, live life happily!!!

How in the hell did this shit get pinned.
It's a well known fact that the data has been manipulated to show a rise in temperatures and a great deal of data was left out from Russian weather monitoring stations, yet you fools still buy into this crap.
NASA are the biggest bullshitters out there when it comes to this stuff, and the Daily Wail has never in their history made anything up have they.
Headass

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
