furious Gov allowed to spy on you, you not allowed to spy on gov, fair?
Is that fair that you are not allowed to oversee "YOUR" government but hey can do what the f*ck they want with you.

Does that sound just to everyone hear?

It's as bass ackwards as it possibly could be.

As Thomas Jefferson once famously said... when the people fear the government, that is tyrrany... but when the government fears the people, that is liberty.

I've said my entire life (because my father's career was shrouded in "top secret classified" status) that the reason America is dying is this perceived need for secrecy... due to the bullshit "national security concerns".

If America were truly free and brave, there would be no secrets. If America were truly tough and strong, then we could give away all our secrets and still survive just fine.

Instead, America keeps its secrets from its own people, and in the process it reveals that it ISN'T big and tough and strong and brave and free.

Just the opposite. America is weak and worthless. That's why they have to keep secrets and run black ops and classify anything of the least importance.

It's all bullshit in America. And I'm an American. To this day, I have no clue what my father did his entire career. And he's dead so we'll never know. I feel like I knew maybe half of my father. The other half was secret. How do you think that feels?

Yeah right? What can scattered lonely individuals do, when we have a organised government watching individuals...

When a leaf falls, who's fault is it?
The tree that let it go,
The wind for blowing it away,
Or the leaf that got tired of holding on?

Soon it will all be done through computer software, I look forward to the day that the bugs are figured out and we can exploit those bugs =D

Another reason I'm against lobbyists running congress, when you have companies making a lot of money they invest in politicians to maximize their profits, not your freedom.

Interesting convo I had with a peep about constitutional protection
against unreasonable search or seizure in the age of computers. Essentially, once you log onto the internet, you give up constitutional protection. Or, if the data is airborne (wifi), it no longer belongs to you. Makes you rethink landlines and cable, dunnit?

Having said that, it doesn't bother me that people try and hack gov networks. Security should always tested. But, when you start interfering with individual law enforcement officers to gain information, you will rain down destruction on your ass.
