abduct Government to receive archive of every tweet ever sent
Advertisement
Tuesday 6 December 2011.

Tweets, emails and other electronic communications can be considered "government documents" and must be preserved. The National Archives handles official government materials, while the Library of Congress' mandate is to deal with anything that may have long-term historical interest.

But how much digital information are we talking about? How about all of the tweets from Twitter's archives?

"We have an agreement with Twitter where they have a bunch of servers with their historic archive of tweets, everything that was sent out and declared to be public," Lefurgy said. The archives don't contain tweets that users have protected, but everything else — billions and billions of tweets — are there."

So let me get this straight. People are concerned that statements that they PUBLICLY made may be seen by the government?

No, those of us who have never tweeted and have never "facebooked" or done any of that retarded crap are actually AHEAD of the curve.

But you feel free to think we're "behind" the curve if that makes you feel better.

Twitter is for TWITS and Facebook is for TWATS.

So the Tosh.0 funnies will be preserved for Posterity's sake. What will future historians think about "tongue punching your mom's fart box" for instance?

Classic!

Not me. I fully realize the spooks can - and may be - reading every post I make online. Even here, where I'm a "guest" and I'm "anonymous" (ROFLMAO yah right)

Whatever. I just don't do tweets and facebook bullshit. It's retarded. Who the hell cares when I'm taking a shit and how many kernels of corn I saw before I flushed it down?

The human species are regressing, and twitter and facebook are assisting in the decline. IMO obv.
