Grizzly-Polar Bear Hybrid - its a "Grolar"
If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

You know, I'm not against hunting at all, but the mentality of those who say 'hey, this animal is different from the others, let's kill it so I we can stuff it' really irks me. Just like that 'strawberry leopard' someone posted sometime back. Some nitwit will want to bag it and brag it.
Cool ursine mix, though. Makes you wonder if the parents were two 'outcasts' that couldn't find a mate amongst their own and were like the two wallflowers left waiting for a dance.

I agree, something unique like that should be protected... and hunting a mother with cubs is wrong, period.

I am a hunter. As was my father, and his father, and his, and I assume that continues a long time... I was raised to believe that sport hunting is murder of animals. Murder is wrong and never acceptable.

Someday...
...I'll fight in the kumite and make my father proud.

You're right. That was one of my dad's rules... "you kill it- you're gonna eat it."

I think Mark Twain said it best. Man is the only animal that blushes, or needs to.
All rivers return to the sea.

No, I think it was just one of those flukes of nature. Interspecies breeding of birds is rare, too, but it does happen. When you consider that their breeding times, their courting calls and nesting techniques all differ it is amazing that they ever cross-breed at all. Wierdness happens.
