You and I could speculate all day long the reasons the next revolution in this country has yet to occur. The fact that I can purchase most any firearm, then go out in the "back 40" and practice shooting without belonging to some club is a form of "protecting our freedom" in itself. Much like I taught my son many years ago in regards to fighting, "You don't throw the first punch, but make damned sure you throw the last one."
