Nothing bad happened, They are back from surgery and still a bit high from the anesthesia

What professional vet would release cats still that much under anesthesia? That video was funny at all. It was very sad.

supposedly you gotta keep them in a dark room for awhile until the drug wears off.

Someone mentioned in the comments who I guess knows them that they have Cerebellar Hypoplasia. I guess they have full carpet now to help them out in their new place. They're very happy cats so nothing to be sad at.

Not necessarily a dark room, but a dim area at least. They should be confined so they can't stumble around and hurt themselves too. When I worked for a vet., we'd put them in a cage (crate system) until they recovered...it provided a dim area and kept them from being able to injure themselves.

Just had one of mine neutered 2 months ago. Kept him in the kitty carrier with a towel blocking off most of it so he could sleep it off. He was unsteady for about 8 hours.

yep.. My uncle spent his whole life in a wheelchair with less control over his body than these guys. He didn't get attention like them but he always had faith, he was happy.

"Sad" is a video of a someone punting kittens over a fence.

This is funny... no different than videos of people right after wisdom tooth extraction.
