Yes, thanks to the series Ancient Aliens, most of us have heard of it. It's absolutely definitive proof of incredibly advanced engineering feats from 12,000 years ago. Basically, it's impossible....yet, there it is defying all logical explanation like so many other locations.
To even imagine what, who or why structures like these were created stretches reason beyond the breaking point. I just want to know the solution to these puzzles littered all over the world. Who built them? For what purpose?
I live by Cahokia Mounds, E. St. Louis, IL., for example, and it drives me nuts every day I drive by them. I live on top of a trade route where Indians once lived and walked, in and out of the outskirts of the Indian city of Cahokia.
I'd give my left nut to time travel back 12,000 years ago. You know they were using cutting lasers, levitation and ariel transportation craft to haul the blocks of stone to and fro.
They were all busily building stone calendars and ground based cosmic alignment observatories.........for what purpose? Someone probably told them to mark the heavens for certain signs of when the heavens came into a particular alignment(s), that something would happen.
Since no race/culture of people ever considers their own demise, they thought they'd still be here in this time today. What were they all watching for? That's the question.
I'd ponder if they were watching for the return of a wondering giant planet or space body that could be calculated to return every certain amount of years.
A planet or space body returning that would disrupt Earth's seasons and cause floods and earthquakes....or a return of an Ice age that would destroy the world completely....or JUST MAYBE...they were being warned about the introduction of US, men and cultures who would destroy their cultures at a certain time calculated to planetary alignments. They knew something about time and ages that we don't know or remember. They were being assisted by someone, but we are not. Why?
They knew beginnings and ends of ages and they were calculating their time in them. Simply put, they were marking how much time they had left before the world changed significantly for them based on some knowledge conveyed to them or from their memories and lore.
But that doesn't answer the question of how they developed their advanced technologies to make such structures and mathematical calculations about planetary bodies and their movements.
So some outside source of knowledge was assisting them. It's impossible to deny this.
1. Who was assisting them and why haven't these same beings continued to assist us? Did "they" ever assist us? Or have they always considered "us" the enemy cultures to pre-historic cultures that we have destroyed?
2. Based on the above argument, where are we "modern" humans regarding the time interval of this Age? Certainly not in the beginning. Mostly likely not the middle either.
So how close are we to the end of this Age?
3. What heavenly bodies or alignments do WE also need to be watching for that would confirm how close we are to our own Age ending or changing in some dramatic way?
4. Does any current culture have this historical and future knowledge that we're not aware of?

I REMEMBER READING A LONG TIME AGO, A REPORT IN KRONOS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR REGARDING PUMA PUNKU.

THEY STATED THAT IF YOU LEVELED A MODERN HYDROELECTRIC PLANT YOU WOULD FIND REMAINS THAT LOOKED LIKE PUMA PUNKU. THEY ALSO ILLUSTRATED THE IDEA, THUS THE VIDEO BY CHRIS DUNN WAS OF PARTICULAR INTEREST.

THE SITE IS VERY OLD AND HAS CLEARLY MOVED. THE STRATIGRAPHIC SURVEY REFERRED TO ABOVE IS VITAL AS IS THE SEDIMENTS. IT LOOKS AS IF A SIMILAR EVENT TO THE GREAT MISOULA FLOOD THAT FORMED THE USA SCABLANDS OVERNIGHT COULD HAVE OCCURRED HERE.

THE LAND CHANGED TILT AS WELL. IT HAS SUNK TO THE NORTH, LEAVING PUMA PUNKU HIGH AND DRY AND BREAKING THE LINK WITH THE LAKE TO THE SOUTH.

I dunno - the government wants you dumb - that's it in a nutshell. They don't want you studying history - It makes no money for them, and what's more, it makes a person question things. Question everything. They'd rather have you learning 'history' from YouTube vids about alien technology. Sounds harsh, but it's true.

I watch ancient aliens and other shows like this, there is always a reoccuring theme... ALL of these sites were already there when the peoples started building on them. People just built sloppy stuff on top of them. You can clearly see the difference between the two. I believe these sites are much much older and were already there... pre inca's, pre egypt....

I meant to address this yesterday, but I'm glad the thread continues today to add it; I've two new pages to read I've not yet seen!

My immediate thought on this would be:

'Where would the technology be placed so as to remove it from the influence of geophysical effects known to be ocurring or possibly may occur on earth and how would it be marked so as to be instantly recognizable as a location of interest so it would be found almost at the first attempt to locate it?

Why not place the technology that built what we call the megaliths, the as-yet undiscussed citadel beneath one mile of water off the Virgina coast, and leveled the mountains, extant at the time, in South America above the entroubled world, on its moon perhaps.

Then let us use our magnificent technology, which in our all too human hubris could not save our civilisation from its incipient doom, to lock that moons rotational period to its sidereal month to place it into syncronous rotation with earth so no one there could miss the fact the moon never appears to rotate.

Anyone left alive on earth will surely make it their goal to travel to that side of the moon never seen, will base a great new civilization upon it and share all that they find to restart our wonderous society!!!

A common goal to unite those scatered few so they need never fight between themselves as disparate groups, but instead join to rebuild our society.'

That may not have been enough of a clue for (us?) their descendants, so perhaps they further set the moons orbit to match the plane of the ecliptic vs. the orientation of almost all other moons, which is to their planet's equatorial plane to further highlight the importance of examining this nearby planetary companion.

Read through many of the India translations of their scrolls, using a "Technical Analysis" in language translations, based on common repeating themes in sentence structure, to determine the meanings (to lesson the percentage for margin of errors in logical deductions), and I find it rather interesting that history has shown, a major repeat, in random cycles, of civilizations great achievements, and their eventual downfall..

A dichotomy exists between two distinct worlds, one that exists to achieve mankind's greatest dreams of the era, and the other to latch onto it, to prevent it from ever achieving it's goal, of leaving behind the old fears, and uncertainties of the age that they are in, and truly achieve the age of reason, and common sense with each other..

The two worlds, conjoined by physical space, have been at WAR for untold eons...

Past writings have shown this to be so, and the examples of the India writings (when translated) show a technical world of which we have barely begun to understand the simplicity of the technologies used, and the natural tendencies to understand the world around them, which leads to massive examples of alternate technological applications..

One primary thing, that tends to "muck up" analysis of the information when being reviewed (written and physical) is the lack of a central example of the technology that is described in many writings over the ages of different technologies..

So when such an example "slips the notice" of the world, that leeches from the world that seeks to advance as a human race.. it "IS" big news...

This ancient site reached public consciousness, before that world, could stop it from happening (wonders of the current age of communications), so a chance to perform "real" analysis of the site, in many different avenues of applications, may very lead to a greater understanding of the "particular" technology they used to make such a site (As always, the answer will be rather simple, and an accompanying thought of: "A Blind man could have seen that" when it becomes visible, for "everyone else to see, use, and have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of the discoveries made from such a site..

My particular brand of research, "Already" has shown, that each pinnacle of civilization, was based upon "One" single recurrent theme of technological application per society, derived from past efforts, and many with some form of assistance, by previous civilizations, after the previous civilizations fall..

This site is a gold mine, waiting to be picked clean of it's technological understandings of the era that built it..
