suggest the accident that started this selection was connected with the loss of

testosterone at the expense of steroids down stream. This would have been
maximized in mammalia due to constant body temperature. This would have
produced "male" offspring of high testosterone

The heat longterm could destroy us and if you read even more into abstract you will understand alzeimers is a direct effect of this degredation on endocrine system... something plaugeing society right now.... yep , many of the new ageing disease problems are related to this overall concept.
