Eh.. Aint NO operation fun. But this one really is routine... And they have come a long way so its no nearly as invasive.

As for f*cking like a mule... HA! Dont know about hernia OPs, but I just got about half my guts ripped out going on a frigging month ago now, and Im STILL not able bang the girls properly. I play with em of course, and they play with each other, but there damn sure aint no "tearing it up" going on like there was before... Its actually starting to become an issue for all 3 of us, and I am really getting worried whether or not I'll ever be back to 100%.

On the plus side is the pain killers... They deaden sensation so when I do play i can last pretty much as long as we like now.

My advice, even for such a routine and non invasive thing is to take it easy for the first couple weeks. That could very well be WHY I'm not healing as fast as it seems I should... I tried too much too fast in both the bedroom and at work. As long as she aint going nowhere, just chill and let yourself heal....

My Dad died from his hernia operation, he was suppose to come home the next day.. No Surgery is safe, anything can go wrong at any time.

ANY procedure has risks... In my case they where only going to take out the ripped part of the stomach, but when they got in there the spleen blew and started bleeding so bad that i actually bled out on the table... They had to take that. Then the tear was worse then thought and they ended up taking half the stomach, which meant they had to re-rout all the pipes as well...

To top it off, I got surgical pneumonia pretty much the day I hit ICU... Still on oxygen due to that.

What exactly happened to your dad?

While ALL surgeries involve risk, try to keep in mind that so does crossing the street, frying an egg or even sitting on your couch...

Considering it myself. Found a/the (?) hernia repair mesh manufacturer is being sued big time. A number of "possible" problems in the 10% range. Depends on if it's an open surgery or liphoscopic (SP) procedure. Lipos are out patient, local anaesthetic. Then, the recurrence rate is also to be taken into account. At least by me.

Yeah I had one at the beginning of last summer. I was nervous since it was the first time I'd ever gone under for surgery.

I had it and I don't mean to scare you but I could hardly walk, laugh or take a shit without intense pain for almost a week.

My balls were swollen to the size of a grapefruit and were blue and purple.

When I had it done it was like a 4 inch incision though. These days I think they can just go in there and leave a mark like 1/2 inch long and you'll experience much less pain.

Nothing life threatening but definitely...uncomfortable.

Prepare your anus for milk of magnesia. I had to drink it so my shit came out like liquid cause it hurt so damn bad to take a regular shit.

Ohhh the pain was terrible. chuckle

You'll be allright though...no worries
