For the past week all I can taste is tobacco smoke, the thing is, I dont smoke and I havnt been around any smokers. This is foul, I wouldnt b*tch if is was something like peaches, why dont I ever get to smell and taste nice phantom things?

Quite smoking, how can you like that shit?

took cold meds for three days three weeks ago, but they taske like tobacco smoke?

This happens to me fairly often, I taste and or smell petrol fumes, burning plastic and other things for days on end with not source, tobacco is new to me. I should keep track of when i take cold meds but I'm certain in the past I've not taken them and had this same phantom thing go on.

Used to have Aural experiences before seizures 25 years ago just before I would feel my mouth tingle and then I would black out for a few seconds, but I dont black out anymore, havnt for at least 25 years and I was never medicated for them.

It might be your sinuses. Inflammation of the sinus cavity can cause phantom smells and tastes. Take some anti inflammatories and see if it goes away. Maybe a sinus infection.
