from the other thread:

MRAP's have severe weaknesses in the designs..

First off:

1) the axle is exposed, along with the shocks..

2) the system still uses an engine, which means the exhaust is also exposed

3) bottom design of the MRAP, was intended to first increase clearances, and to also allow a small "buffer zone" between the exploding mines, and the deflector plates set in a "V" shape underneath the frame..

4) Windows, heavy multi-plated ballistic armored glass, very thick, very heavy, and "very" vulnerable to a 5 dollar product called a "paint balloon" (Iraqis have learned well how to defeat them..chuckle

5) Self containment defenses (i.e. NBC capabilities) is limited, it's a coffin box for the most part, and the design of the self containment systems, is very limited in scope, the MRAP depends more on communications, and flank coverage to remain a useful tool..

Taking an MRAP down physically is very simple, they are hardened against mines, but not "shape charged projectiles" (all I will say on that matter)...

You people really need to get on the ball and study up on the tools the terrorists use.. it's going to be a wild ride soon (and I believe we all can sense it coming)...

Easiest and cheapest method is by simply digging a slant trench and covering it back up, forcing the MRAP to become a turtle on it's back or side...chuckle

If done right, the back, top and all but one side door would be made useless (pop goes the weasel right?..chuckle)

Study up people, gear up, not just with physical gear, but with mental gear as well...

Sucks things are progressing this way... I would rather see it be turned around in the right directions myself...

If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

weren't a lot of your soldiers getting blown up in iraq because they had to drive around in sub standard crappy armored trucks or humvees or something like that. if they had something along the lines of these wouldn't they have been better off. and if so then doesn't this send a message to who gets better treatment on the food chain.

Actually, I think it's a sign of a police crackdown and martial law coming to America.

Well, let me just say this... about that. For what it's worth... If you remember in the Simpson's Movie, the area of Springfield became contaminated (think nuclear plant), and the Feds 'dropped a dome' over it. What if... trade winds had actually contaminated the PNW, and it had to be 'contained,' somehow... There is a large facility in Alaska, I understand... and it wasn't so much an actual 'dome' that they dropped, as it was a 'circle of containment,' so to speak... like a bad hex, or something... ;) Well, eventually there was a 'rescue,' but first... well... you know what happened first.

Silly, isn't it...? I mean, they just disclosed the location of 'Springfield,' and I must say that I find it rather ironic, considering I always kind of 'knew' in my heart, because... I have walked the streets for so long, I guess...

Now, as to whether or not female conspiracy theorists exist, I think that the answer is in the question, in this case... more or less. What do you think...? True, or myth...?

:)

...what is this which is written in the Tanakh, `'The very rock which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

The Light shineth in Darkness, and the Darkness comprehendeth it not...
