Check out how this thread above progressed as LOP users voiced one opinion after another.

Talk about evil! This aint what I signed up for. . . These users are no better than the evil they post about. . . Is treating people like this and making them feel as though their heart litterally aches what this site was intended to do?

I thought it was about sharing information and getting other opinions, not about attacking OP's.

It don't make me feel good to make someone else feel bad so I only have the desire to bring this to everyones attention so maybe they become aware of what they are doing, If they care. . .

As you can see, I went into my user cp and was reviewing the thread at a later date than when I originally posted.

As I went through the thread I began posting a few replies (better late than never)

At some point everyone jumped on the bandwagon from hell and thats when I made my final post and quit reading. . .

I don't blame you the thread did stretch out some 6 pages or so, but unless you have taken the time to read it you should refrain from posting of something that has nothing to do with the reason for this thread. . . (No disrespect but not in the mood after going through that shit)

You are going to need to develop some callous on those feelings of yours if you are to endure.

There are a lot of rude, mean and boorish people on forums...anonymity can bring out the worst in some.

How you react to them will also have an impact on how they treat you in the future. The less you object the less objectionable they behave.

So did you make this thread just so you could complain about people being unkind to you?

I'm sorry but people are people and there are assholes wherever you go.

The trick is to ignore them and try to find like minded people to converse with.

Pointing out that someone was unkind to you will only give them fuel to be even more brutal in their attacks on you.

I did reply to the snopes thing at the end of the thread so that deffinatley could have been when the tables turned because it would have been before I read all the hate. . .

Still, posting info, getting opinions, and at times finding the truth (or untruth) to things is what I thought this kind of site was about.

If that involves informing the OP where you found the info to originate then so be it but does that make the OP a bad person worthy of all the hurtful comments.

I instead would call the thread mission accomplished.

Info proven to be false, why not move onto the next conspiracy instead of treat someone as they did.

Not to carry on but it was just plain wrong.

Who are they to go around making people feel like shit.

Its a shitty enough world rather than have to put up with that.

And I can predict that right about now someones gonna tell me that if I don;t like it then go somewhere else.

I can deffinately do that but still don't think future OP's here deserve to be treated as such so maybe theres a little click here that can discuss this and encourage people to be a little more respectful to others, and other peoples feelings.

Trust me I've been on these threads for very long time between GLP and here.

I can ignore the best of them...however...This seemed to me to be the neverending lets treat the OP like shit thread.
