All Theaters lock and alarm the emergency doors to prevent unauthorized entry. So how did the shooter get in to the theater?

One very real possibility is a 2nd person was involved:

According to a very coherent eyewitness in the Colorado theater where the shooting took place — a man sitting near one of the fire exits in the front row received a phone call near the beginning of the film feature.

This phone call struck the witness as odd due to the fact that the man did not leave the theater after he began to talk on the phone.

Just after the man disconnected the call he went to the fire exit and propped the exit open with his foot in some way and possiblely a shim of some type directing or waving another person toward the direction of the exit door..."

Also, how did he throw tear gas while holding a shotgun and an AR-15?
Also, tons of other questions that are not adding up. Strike while the iron is hot, folks...snag that info before it disappears.

The entire situation is awful.

My two biggest questions are how he got in so easily, and why did he simply surrender to the police without issue? Dressed in body armor, has weapons, has car readily available. He surrendered without a fight.

Anyone out there have a timeline?

His AR15 jammed.

He was not wearing body armor.

This is not very accurate or honest.

When building a bod of knowledge should your foundation not be 100% solid?

I mean here i have seen lots of speculation being put forward that does not not mesh with what has been reported.

That would make any conclusions drawn questionable at best.

Some witnesses are saying he was let in. Some are saying he kicked his way in while people tried to hold the door.

The second explanation is the "currently accepted wisdom" btw.

I'd like to see anyone kick in a metal emergency door that only opens one way, while 3 people hold the door from the other side. But that's just me.
