If we do away with our insane "Make War For Profit Industry, and downsize the Military by 80 Percent, we can pay off the deficit with no problem. The thing to note here is that it was American policy to maintain a SMALL standing army most of the years of our existence. President Eisenhower warned us in 1961 that the Military Industrial complex would strive to keep us involved in conflict for profit's sake and that we should stand up to them and deny them their artificial wars and their profits from wars that they strive to get us into.

The Republican party has become the corrupt party of the Military Industrial Complex that Eisenhower warned us about, and they have made up war after war after war after war that they have managed to get congressional funding approval of because of generous donations to the Congressmen and their families and friends since Eisenhower's speech. These wars and military involvement in Cuba, Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Grenada, Nicaragua, Panama, Lebanon, Somalia, Kuwait, Iraq, and military aid to over a hundred countries has made Trillionaires out of that Military Industrial Complex and put the government 17 Trillions of dollars into debt. That is debt that we need never have approved in Congress if those representatives of the public were not so damn corrupt.

What to do about that? Simple we need to wage war on the military industrial complex as it is trying to destroy this country for personal profit. There are no ethics in the business of killing people in imaginary wars so fat cats can become fatter.

You are absolutely correct and I stand corrected. I am blushing in shame.

Unfortunately I have fallen victim to the common vernacular that they use on the news channels all of the time. Damn, American English is being polluted by me and the news media now.

Honest, I will try to mend my ways, but I have been so brain washed by the media that I am afraid that I will fail again.

If the media were out of the control of the Pentagon we'd have those wars stopped in a day.

Why not? Nothing else works. Just order the companies that make weapons of war to make other things. We do not need to be the leading war weapon production country in the world. We should be the leading peace production country in the world.

I believe that Kennedy was assassinated because of that goal that he had told others about in his administration. The Southern Democrats in 63 who make up the Military Industrial Complex - Pro War for Profit Republicans of the modern day were the ones who pooled their efforts to have Kennedy assassinated. I am an historian and the evidence it there. Jim Garret was right.

War is their game and they are experts at it. I can't see how that could ever work.

Giving due consideration to the Warning by Eisenhower, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was going to pull all of the Advisers that were in Viet Nam out and just tell Ho Chi Minh to give us some grace period before pouncing on the South.

I believe that Kennedy was assassinated because of that goal that he had told others about in his administration. The Southern Democrats in 63 who make up the Military Industrial Complex - Pro War for Profit Republicans of the modern day were the ones who pooled their efforts to have Kennedy assassinated. I am an historian and the evidence it there. New Orleans DA Jim Garrison was right.
