I am one of those nitpickers who just must be accurate. Like the phrase 'pushing the envelope' is actually 'pushing the edge of the envelope' and even more accurately said 'pushing the outside of the envelope', an aeronautics term...most people's eyes glaze over when I try to explain it to them. (I'm sort of like a Cliff Clavin in drag, you see)
