I am sooo Sorry. This was something I was completely unware!

I posted a video today that showed what I considered was a Hate attack on a Christian. This upset some people. And I am truly sorry that it did. But I cannot apologize for the video. I stand behind seeing it as disgusting behavior.

In general (not just directed at you Gotcha!): This is one thing I can't stand...people assume just because someone posts something that they know all their reasons for doing it. The other day someone posted something and got blasted 'cause it was construed that the post was the poster's words. They weren't...they were the words of the person in the article that was copied and pasted. Another thing is that some believe that if someone posts up something, that they agree with it...it can be as simple as what I just said, copying and pasting something someone else said in an article. Some may be posting 'cause they don't agree with it, but no one bothers to ask before slinging accusations.

It would be nice if people would bother to find out where the poster is coming from, instead of insulting someone and assuming before knowing how they feel.

Funny, I believe in Christ, but I don't hate gays. I had gay friends until I moved out of the state I was living in before. Since moving to the area I'm in now, I worked with two lesbians and considered them friends, but I don't work there anymore and live 40 minutes away, so I've lost contact with them, just like everyone else I was friends with there. What people do in their bedrooms is their business, it's none of mine.

Not everyone subscribes to that belief, just like not everyone subscribes to Christianity. We all have a right to believe what we want as long as we're not hurting others or shoving our beliefs down other's throats. Not every person who believes in Christ hates. The ones who do are wrong. I don't hate anyone and I don't hang with people who do. I judge people for the person they are, nothing else. You keep judging people who believe in Christ as if we're all the same. We aren't...I'm living proof of that and so are many others I know.

A Christian can be as simple as someone who believes in Christ. That doesn't mean they believe in or go along with what others believe. I believe in what sings to me personally. My beliefs may not be the same as another who is a Christian. I don't consider believing in Christ a religion, I consider it a relationship. The point is HardTruth, you seem to judge Christians mercilessly, but yet I'm sure you want the right to believe what you want without being bashed for it.

Let me start off by saying that, “Elizabeth and I are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum.” Example, She believes in the bible, God/Jesus, and that marriage is only supposed to be between a male and a female. I on the other hand, do not agree with any of those beliefs; However, we maintain a friendship.
I don’t feel that she was attempting to promote feelings of anger with her videos. She was simply showing through her beliefs how hateful humanity is.
If people would take the chance to get to know Elizabeth, without their personal beliefs getting in the way , they would see that she just wants people to love, and be happy. She lives from her heart, and wears her emotions as her sleeves.
I’m truly glad that we have people like her on this forum. If all of humanity would learn to live with the love that she lives with, then this world would be a much better place. Hugs
