The liberal/left in this country just need to withdraw. Give up. Throw the towel in. No, not just that, they need to encourage the most radical rightest politicians to run, and vote them in. Sarah Palin/Michelle Bachmann or whatever other nut the right can run for President, vote them in. Get Romney in now. Clean slate for Republicans, 100% control.

In public the left will encourage the right and try to out crazy the Republicans. Complete anarcho-capitalism, dismantle every single social program, send every single "illegal" back, make abortion illegal, and whatever hell else the right wants.

One of two things will happen.

1. Some how the right in this country is correct, we will have utopia, 100% employment, the "job creators" will bestow upon us a booming middle class, we will have a rocket launcher in every house, and crime will be gone. (I highly doubt this, but if they are right, then good for us all.)

2. It will become a fascist Dystopia. The rich will have all the money, crime will skyrocket, jobs will be non existent, pollution will be everywhere as there is no one to enforce any of the laws, people will starve to death and life will be terrible. Essentially it will be Orwell's "A boot in every face". HOPEFULLY the population would become revolutionary, after enduring this pain, and not be beaten too bad, then they over throw and rebuild. Having learned the lessons of anarcho-capitalism. If there is anything left, that is.

So what say you? Give the right complete control for 10 years, and see what happens?

Before you whiny little "oh, you believe in the left/right paradigm, you must be a sheeple" people start, I am just sick of this. We are wasting so much energy fighting stupid ass battles. I say we give those fascists a chance to run things, and see just how great their ideas are. If there is no such thing as a left/right, it shouldn't be no big deal. I mean, the outcome would be the same, right?????

You aren't fixing this country.... Its not fixable. The drastic 180 this country needs to do simply won't happen.

We will continue down this road until Americans finally say enough. I bet they can squeeze Americans for another century...

Hint, hint. I'm advocating putting the peddle to the metal, run that car as fast as possible right off the cliff. Then pick up the pieces, put together what works and rebuild. Hopefully we wind have to listen to the reactionary right, after they are blamed for the destruction.

humanity's biggest issue lies in their belief that something needs to be fixed. it's a shit ton of fixing that has got us into this mess in the first place. sorry to say it's the masculine energy run amok. disciplined in all the wrong ways.

Interesting rational for that. I have to say that total party dominance doesn't workout very well (ask Germany) and I suspect even dems repubs don't want it really. The political system is structured like a pendulum. They all know they suck and cause more problems so they take turns getting their asses booted out. I can't believe all the suckers that wanted Obama cause he wasn't Bush even though he wasn't even able or in the running. Now everyone sees Obama as bad as Bush, even half of the original Obama supporters and they want anyone but Obama. They are given Romney as the only viable (my ass) candidate in the media. As usual people vote like it were some kind of game. Real democracies vote for candidates individuals weigh and consider. We vote on lesser evils, not bushes or not obamas.

If people keep voting like it is a game they will lose. Jobs, retirement funds, rights, property, it is all going down the drain.

I think your 2nd scenario is way too optimistic. You left out the Jesus camps for adults and ice pick exorcisms for liberals. Penectomies for any male caught masturbating and women caught having sex outside of marriage being burned at the stake.

I am not making fun of this. I think they would go that far and worse.

Guess you don't remember the previous 8 years of so-called "republican" control with Bush.

There IS no left/right party and hasn't been since 1803.

You should study history and learn something.

Repeal the illegal 14th amendment and go back to united States with State sovereignty, as well as the 17th amendment, then the country would have a chance.

Once they changed how Senators were elected, but kept the Electoral College process, and took away State sovereignty from every person in the country, it was done.

Yes, they would. Good people would die, hopefully for a good cause. However the smart ones would be reporting their Republican neighbors as traitors and terrorists first.
