I Need Advice About A Girl
Hey, I need some advice on this woman from work.
See, she is a Merchandising Execution Manager and I'm this guy that just loads lumber and concrete bags into people's cars all day. Yet, her and I seem to chat quite a bit, we joke around, and sometimes, she playfully sticks her tongue out at me. The other day at work, her hand was close to mine when I was helping a customer and we had our backs to the customer, and I felt like I WANTED to hold her hand.
I like her, and I THINK she may like me a little, but I don't know. I think of her constantly though... :(

I see too many workplace romances fail in the most spectacular fashion, either avoid at all costs or be prepared to have an exit strategy from your position with the company.

Ask her to lunch... What are you waiting on? An engraved invitation?
You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Meh, my wife and I met at work. 25 years later, still going great. We still work together btw.

This ain't Dear Abby.
I might b*tch about my marital isues here, but surely there are better places for actual advice.
We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

The exception not the norm.

here's the thing though, they (appear) to like me a bunch. Besides the Store Manager, I'm the only other associate with a big picture of themself at the front of the store. They let me wear a tshirt and hat with a logo, when I'm not supposed to according to the rules of the store, and none of the managers say anything about it. They've given me awards, and now one of the high-time salaried people, might actually like me. It's one of those situations of the girl you want but can't have without sacrifice.

She's a salaried manager that works for the district. Technically HR... although the hand close to where mine was could have been a hint.

as a woman i will say this
either she is enjoying teasing you
or she is intentionally giving you signals to ask her out
because we women don't get near guys or almost touch hands with them
unless it's intentional
everything we do is intentional
remember that
we're steps ahead of you in that department
so she's toying with you or she's interested and hoping you'll get the hint
you won't know for sure until you actually ask her out
asking her if she wants to grab a coffee sometime is an easy way to do it
if that goes well then ask her to dinner
so coffee isn't really a date, but a foot in the door that she might be interested, kwim?
and you'll know for sure either way
