I disagree. I think (as do many people) it's a biological/genetic issue or phenotype. It's not my thing, but I don't think society would be better off if people had to hide or contradict their sexuality or sexual preference. That actually seems to me to be a pretty bigoted position, but people are entitled to their opinions, I suppose.

indeed sir, they have done large studies and concluded that roughly 12 or 13 percent of every species population is of alternative sex preference. dogs, cats, bears, lions, frogs.. seems a pattern that some are just different. not a biggie Cheers

i support the right of people do do as they wish. i understand some peolpe would take offense. i support gay marriage as i had a good friend whos partner of 26 years was in a car accident and because of the laws and them not being married, he spent the last 6 hours in the hallway at the hospital because they called the police and refused him entry on the grounds of family only. that is not right to do to somebody.

idk if a lot of ppl stop and realize how many things like that come up in their lives.

Nutz, what people need to remember is that the social issue of gay marriage is a political one because of the way our society is structured, like hospital visits, not being a legal spouse, can't visit, and children, etc. The gay agenda has nothing (and also everything, that is the agenda) to do with loving another person, yet now it is political and effed up with no solution. The average person knows there are more pressing issues at hand. The average person wants people to love each other. Now I'm sorry I haven't read your grand dad's opinion of it but I can garner a guess. He has political influence though...so idk.

ffs there has been homosexuality since there have been humans.

Nah did'nt bail... I just did'nt want to comment any further on the issue

as I love my Family and my grandfather so much.. it just kind of hurt me that he would take a stance on this now.. and of course the media had to focus on it and the back shot on tv of him being wheeled into the room full of politicians... it just seemed wrong to me... but thaz is all my opinon.. He is still a great man of god that I admire deeply ... But He no longer speaks for this generation of people...... I wish I was able to but I know i am not his choice to carry on the name.... my cousin tuli is......

I always felt... and I live my life by this.. I don't judge others and I wont take a stand for something that can seem hateful...

I have no problem with gay marriage.... as long as I dont see people gettin it on in the streets... I am ok if a man loves a man or a woman loves a woman.. as I always say... it is not my place to jusge or tell someone what to do.. so when I heard about my grandfather taking a stand against gay marriage... I just shook my head and thought... Why go backwards...
