If you look at what Mitt all said during this first debate...

He likes social security now.
He likes healthcare reform and will also not let pre existing conditions hamper treatment.
He likes all kinds of stuff that is in place to serve the middle class (except big bird).
He said he didn't like anything a few weeks back, but ofcourse now he doesn't speak to conservatives anymore, but to the undecided voters who are less reactionary and brainwashed.

He promises everything democrats also promise, but he then also promises a much better recovery, reduction of taxes, extra money for the military.

Well, his playbook is not young. This kind of deception is as old as America itself probably.

It is funny how accurate these old videos still are.
All these black and white warnings of former presidents....

It shows this game is not at it's end, it is going all pretty normal.

why do you obsess over American politics when you're not even a US citizen? Both candidates are equally as bad and either one of them will lead us eventually to the same corrupt and dangerous place according to their masters' commands.

Yes I know.
But republicans have been saying Obama will be the last president, that he will destroy the US, that Sharia or communism is taking over America.

I just see that nothing is ending, that all those things are terrible lies, that the game is just being played and will continue.

Any politicians promises stuff he or she cannot all get done. I just see that republicans have stopped caring for reality and truth altogether now.

They just focus on the goal. That is to deny Obama a second term or get Mitt in the whitehouse.
They care not for truth, principles, justice or whatever anymore.

Obama was being a bit technical and honest in the last debate. Mitt was just saying anything people want to hear, he has decided to not care for honesty what so ever.

Ofcourse dems lie sometimes too. But since fox news, the deception of reps works on a completely new level.

I don't care for the place were we are going or not.
What makes American politics so obsesive is the lies. It hurts your soul, it makes you feel you wanna do something about it. It gets to you.
And maybe of these capitalist notions and deceptions have found their way into my own society. We let the market also be king. We have privatized a lot, not all with good result. We have our own right wingers who only care for a free market.
The way American politicans talk today will be hw our politicians talk tomorow. And these last 4 years have been ridiculous and hurtful.

Americans deserve Romney, a war with Iran, more tax cuts for the riches, and economic collapse instead of recovery (even if slower than predicted); you had it coming!

No? I thought Roosevelt was talking about Romney.
Cos Romney promisses to keep all good things of social security, medicare, healhcare, get rid of the bad things, get 2 billion extra for the military and do it all without raising taxes, actually with reducing taxes (he once said 20% less tax across the board).

So I thought roosevelt talked about Mitt when he said "We like social security, healthcare and what not. We will do all these things, we will do them better, and most importantly, it won't cost anybody anything"

He got Mitt perfectly.
